Georgetown Palace Theatre evening performances have a curtain time of 7:30pm.
Our matinee performances have a curtain time of 2pm.
Please check your ticket for your show location. We have three theatres, all located in Downtown Georgetown, but on three different streets. The Springer is our historic theatre on S. Austin Ave. The Palace Playhouse is around the corner on 8th St. and the Doug Smith Performance Center is on W. 2nd St, across from El Monumento.
We suggest that our patrons take their seats in the theater 10 minutes before the show is scheduled to begin. You will be able to access your seat as early as 30 minutes before the show is scheduled to begin.
Parking can be difficult in downtown Georgetown during festivals and events, so please plan ahead accordingly.
Latecomers cannot be guaranteed immediate seating and is at the House Manager’s discretion.
Tickets are non-refundable. Refunds, credits, or alternate dates are not offered for missed performances.
If your party has tickets at the door that you will not be using, please let the House Manager know that you have tickets to turn in. If staff is able to resell them at the door, then you will be offered credit for another performance within the same season. Any credit offered will be distributed by the box office the week following your scheduled show. There is a $5 fee for this service. Credit will not be given if the seats are not resold.
For a fee of $5, exchanges for the same production may be arranged online via the link in your confirmation email up to 24 hours prior to show time or by phone during business hours only.
The box office is open in person and by phone Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can also reach our box office by emailing us at email@example.com. Responses are sent during our normal business hours. Staff are also available one hour prior to show times (in person, no phone calls). Any voicemails left after 4:00 p.m. on Friday will be responded to on the following Monday.
We sell a variety of soft drinks, bottled water, candy bars, light snacks such as granola bars, nuts, and pretzels. Most concession items are $2 with the exception of specialty items for specific shows.
The Springer Stage also offers beer, wine, and signature show cocktails. Prices range from $5-$12.
No outside food or drink is allowed inside Palace theatres.
The Palace, the Palace Playhouse, and the Doug Smith Performance Center each have a designated area for those patrons with accessibility needs such as wheelchairs and walkers, as well as for other patrons who have difficulty with stairs. This space is very limited and often sells out. Access to these areas is only sold by phone or in person.
A family/companion restroom is available in our Palace Theatre and Palace Playhouse. The Doug Smith Performance Center contains an accessible stall in each main restroom as well as a family/companion restroom.
In the Palace Theatre, we also provide an induction loop hearing system for attendees who use hearing aids.
The historic Springer Stage does not have an elevator. To access our balcony, all patrons must be able to climb a full flight of stairs.
The Doug Smith Performance Center does have an elevator.
