Palace Operating Standards
We invite everyone to read the Georgetown Palace Theatre Operating Standards. Based on the framework of the Chicago Theatre Standards, our operating standards define our commitment to creating an environment where everyone is respected and safe. This document is intended to clarify what we expect of everyone involved at the Palace, and empower all of us to speak up when those expectations aren’t met.
This document is the result of several years of hard work by members of the Palace Staff, along with input from our actors and crew members. After feedback from our Board of Directors, they approved it unanimously.
The document is about 28 pages long and covers a lot of material. Everyone involved with the Palace will be provided the link to read it, and will acknowledge that they have received it. We hope everyone reads and absorbs every word. Obviously, we can’t force everyone to read all of it, but we will hold our family (cast, crew, staff, and board) accountable for all of it. This is a living document, and when changes need to be made, we will adjust. Thank you all for your support of the Georgetown Palace Theatre as we move forward, learning and improving, together. The standards linked below were updated in November 2024.
