1925-1929: Built and operated as a “Moving Picture” theatre, beginning with silent films and progressing to “talkies”.
1936
1936: Renovated as an art deco movie theatre.
1989
1925-1989: The longest run of a continuously operating movie theatre in Williamson county.
1991
Owned and operated for the community by Georgetown Palace Theatre, Inc.
1998
1998-2001: Major restoration/renovation of the Palace completed (Art Deco).
2002
A community theatre with professional-quality live productions on stage, a flourishing education program, & off-site cabaret and dinner shows.
