Boeing Boeing Audition Information
The Georgetown Palace will hold auditions for our production of Boeing Boeing

The production will open Friday, March 27th and Close Sunday, April 19th.
About the Play: This 1960’s French farce adapted for the English-speaking stage features self-styled Parisian lothario Bernard, who has Italian, German, and American fiancées, each a beautiful airline hostess with frequent “layovers.” He keeps “one up, one down, and one pending” until unexpected schedule changes bring all three to Paris, and Bernard’s apartment, at the same time.
Casting 2 lead male and 4 supporting female characters
- Bernard (mid 20s-40): The lothario in question. French accent.
- Robert (mid 20s-40): Bernard’s old school friend. American accent.
- Berthe (mid 30s-60): Bernard’s maid. She helps Bernard juggle his women, but is not happy about it. French accent.
- Gloria (mid-20s- mid-30s): Bernard’s American fiance who works for TWA. She believes that women run the house. American accent.
- Gabriella (mid-20s- mid-30s): Bernard’s Italian fiance who works for Alitalia. She believes in love and Bernard. Italian accent.
- Gretchen (mid-20s- mid-30s): Bernard’s German fiance who works for Lufthansa. She is a hopeless romantic. German accent.
All roles will require onstage kisses except Berthe.
Auditions will be held Saturday, February 8th, Sunday, February 9th with Callbacks Monday, February 10th. Callbacks are posted on the Palace website.
Please prepare a comedic monologue or anecdote. It does not have to be memorized but should be prepared.
Auditions are located in the Palace Education Center, on the Playhouse Stage 216 W. 9th street Georgetown TX 78626.
Auditions are scheduled online via the Palace website. You will fill out the audition form, sign up for a time, and fill out the conflict calendar, as well as upload a headshot and resume. Questions should be emailed to productions@georgetownpalace.com
You will receive an email confirming your appointment. If you are unable to attend any of the audition times, please send us an email and we will try to work with you to schedule an alternative time.

Rehearsals will begin around Feb. 17th. We will distribute scripts the week after auditions.
Rehearsals are typically held Monday through Thursday from 7:00-10:00 pm and Saturday 1:00-5:00 pm. Performances are Friday and Saturdays at 7:30 pm, and Sundays at 2 pm. Sometimes ticket demand causes us to add Saturday Matinee performances at 2 pm. Two Saturday rehearsals will be moved to an alternate date/time TBD, predicated on the conflict calendar.
Background checks: Everyone involved with the production must submit to a background check at the Palace’s expense. If you are cast, you will receive a secure link where you can fill it out. There is no cost to you.
The Georgetown Palace Theatre is a 501c3 non-profit organization. There is no compensation for any of the actors.
We practice non-traditional casting, and all roles are open. All ages, abilities, gender, and ethnicities are encouraged to participate.
