Thanks to many wonderful donors, the Georgetown Palace Theatre raised over $2,000,000 toward the new Smith Performance Center. The building is now open and being used by the Palace Education program.

The Art Deco blade and marquee on the front of the Palace are vital features of our building, however the marquee is difficult and dangerous to maintain. The Palace would like to replace that marquee with a beautiful historic-looking replica in order to keep the character of the building and have something that is more effective, efficient, and safe to maintain. A new marquee would cost around $50,000.
