August 5th- August 23rd (3 weeks) Shakespeare's Midsummer Nights Dream We all know Shakespeare's most famous play of love, confusion, and a little bit of fairy magic. Many students have performed in retellings of this wonderful tale on the Palace stage, but this summer our teens will delve into the actual Shakespearean text. Challenge yourself as one of the devoted (and confused) lovers, the wise rulers of Athens, the committed and comical players, or the feuding and scheming fairies. Every student will leave with a better grasp of the language and history that make the Bard's plays immortal, in addition to the performance skills that are necessary to call yourself a "Shakespearean Actor".
