Music and Lyrics by Sherman Edwards
Book by Peter Stone

American history blazes to vivid life in this most unconventional of Broadway hits. 1776 puts a human face on the pages of history as we see the people behind the icons: proud, frightened, uncertain, irritable, charming, often petty and ultimately noble and determined to do the right thing for a fledgling nation. This Tony award-winning musical includes songs such as “Sit Down, John,” “He Plays the Violin,” “Mama, Look Sharp,” and “Is Anybody There?”

The story of our founding belongs to us all and in an effort to open up the telling of it to everyone, the Palace plans to cast this show with actors of any gender or race. This is not your Grandfathers 1776!

Suggested rating: PG for themes of war, slavery and revolution.

The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs

Saturdays Oct. 15 & 22 at 10 AM

Based on the book by Jon Scieszka & Lane Smith

Enter the jury box and decide the fate of Big 'n' Bad in this musical adaptation of the hit children's book.

There are two sides to every story, and when the Big, Bad Wolf takes the stand in Piggsylvania's Trial of the Century, he finally gets his say. But whether he'll get a fair trial in a corrupt piggy court is anyone's guess. Will the pigs' splashy puppet show make a puppet out of justice, or is the wolf's catchy song and dance about a sneeze gone wrong all razzle-dazzle?

Suggested rating: G: for the young and young at heart!

*Professional actors bring age-appropriate stories to life, allowing kids to engage with live theatre!
