Session 5, August 9-21 "Welcome to the Jungle" Join Tumbili the monkey, Tembo the elephant, Kiboko the hippo, Twiga the giraffe, and the rest of the jungle gang for a very special African adventure. A group of storytellers narrates the story of Panya, a tiny mouse who uses her charm to escape the claws of Maliki, a ferocious lion. But when Maliki gets caught in the hunter's net - who do you suppose will be the first to his rescue? Welcome to the Jungle is a story of promises kept and friendships made, told in five simple unison/two part songs and a stylized script written especially for young performers. Teachers Handbook includes reproducible student pages. Workshops are Monday through Friday with the final performance on the Saturday at the close of the session. Early Bird registration is $180 deposit and the total cost for two weeks is $360 and the cost for a teen or pre-teen four week session is $720.
If you enroll more than one child, or your child takes more than one session, you receive a 10% discount for each subsequent session! Your deposit for the second (or more) session(s) will be $162 or $324 for the full session if it is of two weeks length! The four week sessions are $648 with the 10% discount. All age groups experience vocal, dance, and acting training in an age appropriate environment You may drop off as early as 7:30 and pick up as late at 5:30 (small additional fee)
Normal class is from 8:30am to 4:30 pm (latest drop off at 8:25am please) We require each student to bring a full lunch and two snacks each day. We are a very active workshop!
Parents will be mailed a “Parent Information Letter” upon enrollment. This letter will explain the workshops in depth.
