Palace Education Program
Theatre Arts Education for Everyone
The Palace Theater holds a unique place in Central Texas. What was primarily an attempt to preserve a cherished landmark by building a non-profit community performing arts facility, has matured into a full-fledged Theatrical Community. While much of our talent still comes from Williamson County, we draw actors, dancers, directors, musicians, and technical specialists from Austin and beyond. As we announce the expansion of The Palace Theatre's Education Program, we want to honor the "home grown" aspect of what made the Palace successful. From first time performers to theater veterans, we have learning opportunities for every age and experience level. | ![]() |

Fall 2013 Schedule of Workshops Coming Soon!
The Georgetown Palace Theatre Education Program is dedicated to training youth and adults in theatre arts and to providing age appropriate performing opportunities. Our MISSION is to foster a lifelong appreciation of Live Theatre by providing a safe environment for training and creative self-expression, while building self confidence and leadership skills through the performing arts. The Palace Theatre began offering Summer workshops for children in 2004. 2011 was our first year to offer full scale after school programs in the fall and spring for both kids and adults in addition to Summer and Spring Break workshops. This year, we are expanding our offerings in response to your suggestions.
